Sass

Sass joined the Green Lake Animal Hospital team in 2026. Originally from Peru, Sass was drawn to veterinary medicine by her lifelong love for animals and a desire to find purpose and fulfillment in her daily work. She is passionate about being part of a dedicated team that shares her commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of pets and their families.

Outside of the clinic, Sass loves making music, acting, and fashion design. She is a culinary school graduate who now channels her expertise into cooking elaborate, challenging recipes for those she loves. Her creativity doesn’t end on the stage or in the kitchen.  You mighvt also find her scrapbooking, painting, or tackling her latest DIY project. Thanks to her husband, Andrew, Sass has also grown to love the outdoors and enjoys camping and exploring Washington. (Fun fact: Sass and Andrew have a movie-worthy love story—after meeting and talking just once a decade ago, he randomly reached out on LinkedIn years later, and they were married within six months!)

Sass’s heart belongs to three very special dogs. Her two beloved pugs, Ramona (a zen, independent cuddler) and Matilda (a boundless “forever puppy” who doesn’t believe in personal space), are in Peru with her parents.  Here in Washington, she and Andrew share their home with Ringo, a rescued Mexican street dog. A sassy poodle mix with only one eye, Ringo is always giving a wink and is full of personality, demanding plenty of love, snacks, and pets from his favorite humans.
